The agribusinesses running them deal with thousands of smallholders, paper records, fragmented tools, and audits that swallow weeks of work. The software they had to work with was built for warehouses and factory supply chains, not for the realities of contract farming.

sproot was built by people who have seen that gap from the inside. Our team has spent years selling irrigation systems to agribusinesses across Africa, walking the fields and sitting with field officers as the same operational chaos played out scheme after scheme. That field experience is paired with deep backgrounds in software, in scaling a global IT consulting firm, and in finance, and with a team in Nairobi who live this work every day.
